For over twenty five years Epitome Pictures and its related companies have been actively involved in the production and distribution of television programmes.

In the Fall of 1997, to facilitate the production of English Canada's first prime time soap opera, Epitome Pictures Inc. built a 100,000 sq. ft. (9,500 sq. m.) state of the art digital studio. The facility includes three shooting stages, dressing rooms, wardrobe facilities, a hair and make-up facility, a carpentry shop, extensive parking, and a back lot, as well as production and executive offices.

At the present, Epitome Pictures Inc. uses the studio primarily for in-house productions. When the studios are not in use they are available for rental to other production companies. Outside productions of both features and television shows have included: Penny's Odyssey, PSI Factor, Apartment Hunting, Daydream Believers, Out of Sync, In a Heartbeat and Patti.

Epitome Pictures Inc. believes in providing training opportunities to emerging filmmakers. To that end, EPI hosted the first Writers' Workshop sponsored by the Canadian Film Centre. This exciting three-month project offered the opportunity for 15 new writers to work with experienced show runners and broadcast executives to develop prime-time television series. Epitome has also hosted the CBC director's workshop to train young directors in the technique of multi-camera dramatic shooting.
